Update

Hi, everybody! Not really anything to update, as nothing has really changed. I guess the only thing is that I've gone from 2L to 1.5L on the oxygen. My biggest problem is sleeping. Not being able to sleep, really. As long as I don't go backwards.

I know a lot of y'all have had covid, are any of you long haulers? I hope I don't end up being a long hauler. It's terrible what some people are dealing with months/years after having covid.

Anyway, just wanted to drop in and let y'all know that I'm okay. Hope y'all are enjoying the daily downloads. Really doesn't look good for December (I haven't even turned the computer on lately).

Hugs & Blessings,

Pauline

  4. I've been thinking about you, thank you for updating us, even though not much has changed. Oxygen change is a positive one at least. I don't know anyone who has had covid personally, which I'm grateful for! Keep the faith and continue to get better. HUGS!

  5. Thank you for the update. Been wondering how you are doing. While I know so many people who have had COVID with no long lasting effects, my brother-in-law had COVID over a year ago & is still on oxygen 24/7. But don’t let that get you down. Each case seems to be so different from others. He has a positive attitude that this is his new normal & isn’t letting it stop him from enjoying his life. We will always be here for you. Concentrate on getting better!

  8. Hi Pauline. It is good to hear from you. I totally understand about not even turning on the computer after Covid because it is not only a physical recovery but an emotional recovery as well. Not only are you zapped physically, you just feel drained totally. Take as much time as you need. I love your designs and thank you so much for sharing.

  10. I hope you recovery continues on the upward spiral. December daily downloads should be the least of your worries. We are more concerned about your health and your recovery than the downloads.

  11. Thanks for letting us know how you are doing. Keep looking for those small victories - wonderful news about your oxygen levels! & don't worry about DLs for us. You have been so very generous over the years; with your creative talent! Enjoy the holidays with your family ... don't worry about the new year either...
Take care, Pauline. We are praying for you...

  16. Pauline all the concern is for you and your health. As a nurse, I know that rest, eating healthy and not overdoing it is so important. When you feel good, just keep in mind you really still need to rest. You will get stronger and you just to store your energy. If you get tired, no matter what time, sleep. Your body is telling you what it needs. If you continue not to sleep because you maybe depressed. This is very common while recovering from Covid. If it continues, you might want to consider talking to someone. You probably need OT and PT. You are going in the right direction! Do not worry about us, we just need you to well!! Praying for you every night.

  18. So glad you're making progress! Even slow progress is PROGRESS!
I pray you're not a long hauler! But if that happens, at least you're still here, right?

PLEASE don't worry about scrapping stuff. But I am very happy to get updates from you!!!

And thank you for sharing your journey with us.

  20. Please don't worry about us, for the daily or other designs. Think only of you for now. In this kind of healing, you owe it to yourself to be selfish for your own health. Thank you for updating from time to time on your progress, minimal they may be. Progress is progress. And above all, remain optinistic, even if sometimes it seems hard to you. We all think very strongly of you and I send you full of positive vibes and courage. Take good care of yourself.

  21. December is looking great - for you to continue taking care of yourself and enjoying yourself. As for the designs you so generously give away - they will be there when you feel up to it, but shouldn't be a worry EVER on your part. Yeah, you've managed to spoil a lot of folks, but we really want you to take care of yourself first!
