Hi, everybody! Sat up in a chair today, for 1 hour and 40 minutes! Man, am I tired but I did it.
I'm on regular oxygen and do good unless I need to get up (bathroom break) or roll over to my side in bed. It'll really drop sometimes but I do my best to fight through.
There's a chance I may make it out of the hospital and into rehab by the end of the week. As bad as I want to go home, I know that I need the rehab.
Again, I love you guys and look forward to getting back to more normal life. Thank you for continuing to think of me.
Hugs & Blessings,
Pauline
Prayers for continued improvement!

ReplyDeleteThank you for keeping us updated. I know it must be hard to have to really slow down and just be for a while but you will benefit from rehab and it will eventually be a long distant memory. Please do not stress about providing us with freebies. Just get well.

ReplyDeleteThank you for keeping us all updated on your progress, Pauline. Just make sure you don't overdo it, but great to hear you are getting better slowly. You're in my thoughts and prayers xxx
ReplyDeleteWe do keep thinking of you! Glad to hear you are doing better, even if it is slow progress. My mother-in-law is in the hospital but not COVID related. She's 86 and things are failing to heal the way they used to. She's had sepsis, heart issues, and hasn't been able to swallow properly. She is improving and hopefully next week will be in a rehab facility. *Fingers crossed!* Hope you can get into rehab also! It's a pain but it really can help!
ReplyDeletePrayers for her recovery.
DeleteDear Pauline, Thanks for the updates on your health. Wow, it looks like you've been deep down and are on the way back up. Push yourself into doing what you can to recover, but don't overdo! One step at the time, don't try to take 2 steps at once of the stairs, cause you'll fall and you'll have a setback! I did that when I was recovering from cancer and it went bad. I was so eager to get back to work, but in the end I had to give up my work cause I couldn't function properly anymore.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a quick recovery, but keep in mind what's most important to you. We are patient and I think your family at home is more important than this community.
Nevertheless we hope to see you soon here, cause that would mean you realy are going well!
Big hug from me out of the Netherlands! Get well! Good luck with rehab!
PS Can I have your adress, so I can send you a selfmade greetingcard? If so you can reach me at duikertje52@gmail.com with a personal mail.
Keep on keepin' on Pauline, and get well soon. All of us here are wishing you well and praying for you.
ReplyDeleteStay strong and just focus on yourself!
ReplyDeleteOh, such great news! Yes, continue to get stronger, do the rehab, and beat this thing!
