Hi, everybody! Again, thank you so much for taking a moment to think of me. I am so looking forward to getting back to you (and I miss my kitty babies, too).
I just want to take a moment to tell y'all what happened before I got here. Not last week but the first week I was sick at home, the last day I ate anything was that Monday and by Thursday I was ready to come to the hospital. That's not me. Anyway, hubby was working crazy hours and I put it off. Well, (this is what gets me) called ambulance Saturday night and they didn't want to "fool" with me. Came in my house empty handed and just tried to get my husband to take me to urgent care. Obviously I didn't. I was exhausted after that and just waited. We called again Sunday night and (thankfully) different guys came this time. They came right in with their stuff and started checking me out. Y'all, my oxygen was 70.
My point, you know you and if you don't get what you need, insist. I don't want anyone to feel like I do. Truly love you guys.
Hugs & Blessings,
Pauline
Oh my! You certainly have had a rough time. I am so thankful that you finally got help. That must have been very scary for you to be treated that way by medical professionals. And I hope you get to go home soon to your kitties. It is hard to be separated from the ones we love. Still lifting you up in prayer.
ReplyDeleteWow! Can’t believe medical professionals treated you like that! So glad a new group came & helped you. Rest, relax & get better.
ReplyDeleteOh my! That first team should be reported!! So glad that the second team did what they were supposed to & that you got the attention that you needed! Continuing prayers for your recovery & that you will soon be home!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how did you feel. It was very similar when I called ambulance. Awful.
ReplyDeleteSiento que hayas tenido que pasar todas esas penurias, pero al fin estás atendida y te estás recuperando. Un afectuoso abrazo.
ReplyDeleteOh my gods! When you feel up to it, you should make sure to file a complaint with the hospital over the first ambulance responders. That is apprehensible and they could have caused your death. That's just not right. :(
ReplyDeleteOh, wow. I am so sorry that first ambulance was so awful! What a bunch of jerks, right? Prayers for your continued healing!!
ReplyDeleteAs others said, when you are up to it, please do report the first set of first responders who did nothing. They are absolutely not providing quality care, because you KNOW if they did that to you they are doing that to others and MIGHT cause a death! Holy smokes.
ReplyDeleteI'm VERY glad you are on the mend!
Please take care of yourself!
So true!

Sounds an horrendous ordeal - but thankfully you finally got the help you needed. Hope it isn't too much longer before you get home to your kitties! Sending best wishes for your continued recovery.
ReplyDeleteWow! Scary, and frustrating.
ReplyDeleteFool with you? REALLY?!?
*sigh*
Oh I am so sorry that 'public health workers' reacted that way. Praise God there was a different group the next day and you were persistent! And we will continue to pray you feel better truly soon. But take time to get completely strengthened as well once you get home! This isn't an easy road from what I hear. Hugs and prayers from Hokkaido Japan
ReplyDeleteNot good news re the first responders. Glad that the second ones were more helpful. Also glad that you are on the road to recovery.
ReplyDeleteJust glad you are improving!!! The healthcare system needs help!!! A LOT!!! Keeping you in my prayers!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you continue improving...
ReplyDeleteMy prayers for you...
So pleased you are starting to feel a bit better, Pauline. Take care!xx
ReplyDeleteThank you for the update. Praying that you will not have to stay the full month, but please stay there if you are at all not feeling 100%.
